ABOUT ME:
My name is Natasha Weber. I'm currently a senior at University of South Florida and I'm majoring in Elementary Education through the Urban Teacher Residency Partnership Program. My ultimate goal is to become an elementary teacher because my passion is to teach children and make a difference in their lives. I love children because they are so eager to learn, they look up to you, and make you smile because of their innocence and unconditional love for their teacher. I want to make a difference and my goal is create a community of learners in my classroom. I want my students to wake up with a smile on their face everyday because they are going to Ms. Weber's classroom. Through my website, I will chart my growth of my journey to become the best teacher I can be.
A little bit about me...I love to play volleyball, dance, ski, compete in tough mudders, and watch football. I'm also a huge animal lover. I own two sugar gliders and their names are Gizmo and Daisy. They are very unique, but I love to share them with everyone because everyone has something that makes them special and unique and my pets are a way I can teach people who don't know about them. I have so much patience and love teaching students and getting to that "ah-ha" moment. I love helping people in general grasp new concepts that they can't understand. I loved teaching my littler brother all his homework growing up and that is where my passion started. I can't believe how blessed I am to have the opportunity to intern in the classroom for 2 years before I enter my own classroom. This program will give me over 2,000 hours of field experience and I can't believe how much growth I've made thus far. This learning experience is beyond my dreams and I would love for you to follow my journey of learning what it takes to become an elementary educator.
